ON HOLY GROUND

Have you considered the possibility of a life set apart to God? In [1 Peter 1:16] God says “You must be holy because I am holy’?” For the most part contemporary church, dialogue on holiness is rare or non-existent, however, might we ask what distinctive of holiness is God calling us to take on? And how can we attain to the holiness he wills for us? The Bible declares [2 peter 1:3a]: “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.”

In this book, God’s call to be holy is an appeal to center on Christ until the two actually become one Christ life throughout. Thus, the necessity of “Holiness” inhabiting our lives brings joy in knowing that God’s great desire for us is a lifetime journey into Christ-likeness. “On Holy Ground” is an insightful, powerful portrayal of the sovereign God and what happens to a person who responds to his call to be “set apart” to him. Only God knows the impact this book will have upon this generation and the generations to come. Thus, my prayer is: Lord – plant my feet on holy ground.
