Has there ever been a time in your life that you knew you were walking in faith and obedience to God’s will; and yet, you found yourself in the midst of a great storm? Adversity comes in many forms. And like me, you may have found these perplexing predicaments show up at the most inopportune times. They disrupt our lives and, most frustratingly, come uninvited. If so, what must we gather from this kind of experience that one moment life appears to be serene, the next moment we are in turmoil? In the midst, our bodies might be sickly, infirmed and wasting away, however, the word of God assures us that the cross answers all the important questions of life, so I turn to it with my grief, my pain, my meaningless, my end. 
 
What I have learned is, when I think I am at the end of my rope, because of Jesus I am never at the end of hope, so in the very brokenness of our lives we will find strength to hold on to his broken body, and God in his keeping will bring us safely to our final destination. He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness:[2 Corinthians 12:9].
